Recently, a client delegation from Ukraine visited Zhejiang Tianrun Electric Co., Ltd. for a factory tour and business meetings. Accompanied by company management, the guests toured the production workshops, assembly lines and core equipment facilities, gaining first-hand insight into Tianrun's R&D and manufacturing capabilities before holding in-depth commercial discussions.
Focus on Compact HV Switchgear Solutions
The delegation's visit centered on 10 kV and 35 kV high-voltage switchgear intended for outdoor installation inside box-type substations. Two key requirements were raised: first, a complete product range covering both voltage levels and compliant with Ukrainian governmental regulations; second, a compact footprint suitable for the limited space within the box substation.
Based on the client's operating conditions, the technical team presented two flagship products:
- TRH-12 SF6 Gas-Insulated Switchgear - compact in structure, environmentally friendly and essentially maintenance-free;
- XGN Series Air-Insulated Switchgear - a reliable, compact complement to the gas-insulated lineup.
For the client's requirement for a withdrawable armored switchgear, the team introduced the KYN28 series 10 kV withdrawable armored switchgear. Its withdrawable truck allows individual withdrawal and maintenance without interrupting the operation of other equipment, directly addressing the client's maintenance philosophy.
International Standards Certification
Compliance was a key focus of the talks. Tianrun's switchgear series are designed strictly in accordance with IEC standards and hold CE certification, enabling smooth market access in Ukraine.
Following the meetings, both parties agreed on a tailored solution and officially signed a Letter of Intent, laying a solid foundation for follow-up projects and long-term cooperation. Tianrun Electric will continue to supply compact, reliable and standards-compliant products to grow its presence in overseas power equipment markets.
