Operating Environment of Dry-Type Transformers

1. Ambient temperature: 1.0°C – 40°C; relative humidity <70%;
2. Altitude: Not exceeding 2,500 meters;
3. Avoid exposure to rain, moisture, high temperatures, excessive heat, or direct sunlight. Maintain a clearance of at least 40 cm between the heat dissipation vents and surrounding objects;
4. Prevent operation in environments containing corrosive liquids or gases, excessive dust, conductive fibers, or fine metal filings;
5. Prevent operation in areas subject to vibration or electromagnetic interference;
6. Avoid long-term storage or transport in an inverted position; protect against strong impacts.

Wiring Instructions
1. Short-circuit the transformer's "Input" and "Output" terminals and use a megohmmeter to test the insulation resistance against the ground wire. When measured with a 1000V megohmmeter, the resistance value should exceed 2 MΩ.
2. The cross-sectional area of the input and output power cables must meet current rating requirements; a current density of 2–2.5 A/mm² is recommended.
3. Connect the three-phase input and output power cables to phases A, B, and C respectively, matching the yellow, green, and red colors of the transformer's terminal busbars. Connect the neutral wire to the transformer's neutral terminal. Connect the ground wire to the transformer's enclosure and the neutral point (the ground and neutral wires typically originate from the transformer's neutral point). If the transformer has a housing, connect the ground wire to the housing's grounding terminal.
Inspect the input and output wiring to ensure correctness.
4. Power on without a load first and verify that the input and output voltages meet specifications. Simultaneously, check for abnormal conditions such as unusual noises, arcing, or odors inside the unit; if any abnormalities occur, disconnect the input power immediately.
5. Connect the load only after the no-load test has been successfully completed.
