Features of Dry-Type Transformers
1. Safety and Maintenance
Dry-type transformers are flame-retardant, fire-resistant, explosion-proof, and pollution-free; they are suitable for direct installation at load centers, ensuring operational safety. Their maintenance-free nature results in relatively low overall operating costs and savings on maintenance expenses.
Moisture Resistance and Heat Dissipation
2. Dry-type transformers operate normally in 100% humidity and can be quickly put back into service after a shutdown without the need for pre-drying. Additionally, they feature excellent heat dissipation capabilities, ensuring reliable performance even in high-humidity environments. With forced-air cooling, they can even handle loads up to 150% of their rated capacity.
3. Intelligence and Convenience
These transformers are equipped with a comprehensive temperature protection and control system, providing a solid guarantee for safe operation. They are compact and lightweight, requiring minimal installation space and offering cost-effective installation.
Structure of Dry-Type Transformers
Dry-type transformers primarily consist of an iron core made of silicon steel sheets and epoxy resin-cast coils. An insulating cylinder is placed between the high- and low-voltage coils to enhance electrical insulation, while spacers support and secure the coils; all fasteners used for component assembly feature anti-loosening properties.
